So I found in a French car magazine a chart comparing every version of the Porsche 911 available in 1972 (that's just four, mind you - how times have changed) alongside with its competition. I thought it'd be cool to post it here, with the units properly converted into imperials for yuo Amerikanskis.

Can you add the non-legacy units as well, for us non-Amerikanskis?
Interesting by the way that the Citroën SM, despite weighing more and having less hp, is about as fast 0-62 mph and faster on the quarter mile than the Chevrolet Camaro SS. Who said that aerodynamics were overrated?

Would you mind if I only posted weights and top speeds, for the sake of repetition?
I guess that the Camaro's terrible performance as related to its frontal area as the fact it most likely had a 3-speed automatic.

The Fords are interesting. The Mustang has 271 bhp (allegedly, those were different times), the Capri 147 bhp. See which is quicker...

Why can't we have posters like this any more?

Good question.

The Mustang's power is legit, those are DIN numbers.
